How is storage space consumption calculated?
Each product requires a certain amount of storage space.
- Please refer to the overviews of the individual Products
A full pallet occupies 2m² !
this means that when unloading, for example, a fully loaded small truck requires 4 pallets, i.e. 8m² of space
the storage space at the wholesale market (WM) and the consortium internal wholesale market (CM):
Basically:
- Wholesale market and consortium market are considered as one unit!
- Each city stands for itself!
- Each player is entitled to 1000m² of storage space
- In addition, 25% of the available storage space in production buildings and warehouses is added
- the storage space from sales buildings is not counted!
- as long as the free storage space is > 0, the complete transportation is still stored
- !! the free storage space can slip into the negative !!
- If the storage area at the wholesale market is negative, all arriving trucks drive back to the original building
- ATTENTION: Car transports and manual transports to the wholesale market also start when the wholesale market warehouse is full and then turn around again!!!
- the storage area used at the wholesale market can be seen in the wholesale market under "own products"
- if you hold the mouse over the word warehouse, the total storage area and what is still free is displayed.
Example:
You own in a city (!)
- a sales building with 1000 m² of storage space,
- a factory with 200 m² of storage space
- and a warehouse with 500 m² of storage space
Then you have in this city
- 1000 m² lump sum
- + 0 m² from the sales building
- + 25% of 200 m² from the factory = 50 m²
- + 25% of 500 m² from the warehouse = 125 m²
- = 1175 m² of shared storage space for the WM and CM
