General

The Collective Agreement regulates the wage structure of your Employees. Up to a Company Value of 5 million €, your workforce does not have an employee representation.
Therefore, until this point, your Employees are satisfied with the minimum wage that is valid in Schottertal.

The Minimum Wage is currently 40€ + qualification bonus (see example table).

When you exceed the Company Value of 5,000,000 € for the first time, the Employees establish a workers' council, which demands a higher Base Wage from the company management (player).

Where can you find the negotiation table?

In the Game Menu Office under Personal (Link to the game) and then click the Wage Negotiation button.

Negotiation Process

5 days before the expiration of the current Collective Agreement, you will receive a notification that the workers' council has presented you with a new offer. You can find this offer at the negotiation table, where you can either accept it or make a counter-offer.

  • If you accept, the new Collective Agreement immediately becomes valid and the 30 days start again!
  • If your counter-offer is below the negotiation framework of the workers' council, this round is considered failed,
the willingness to strike increases significantly and the offer will be repeated unchanged the next day.
  • If it is within the negotiation framework, you will be presented with a new offer the following day and the willingness to strike increases moderately.
  • And if the workers' council is satisfied with your offer, it will be accepted directly and the new collective agreement comes into effect.

If you forget to start negotiations before midnight, the workers' council considers this round as failed!

Strike

If no agreement is reached in the 5th round, or the willingness to strike reaches 100%, a company-wide general strike will follow the next day!

During a strike, all production stops! (They are paused for the duration of the strike!)
No goods are sold in the stores!
Research and advertising are also suspended!
None of your trucks will drive! (Trucks that are at a customer can still be unloaded!)
Finally, the gates of all your buildings are closed!

During the strike, the normal rules for negotiations apply!

  • there is a new offer daily
  • if no agreement is reached, the strike continues without a break until the next day

If you accept the offer or make a counter-offer that the workers' council approves, the new collective agreement comes into effect immediately and all employees try to return to their workplaces.
However, since all gates are locked due to the strike, you must now reopen all buildings and all production must be restarted.

There are 2 possibilities for this:
* manually reopen all buildings! (The productions should restart automatically.)
* use the "Open all" button on the building overview
! Attention ! An administrative fee of 100 Schottertal currency is charged for this!
