New construction

expansion (offen)

• farm, livestock, sawmill, fish farm:
  • expansion: 324 sec. per m² (9h per 100m² / 266,66 m² in 24h).
• all other buildings:
  • expansion: 648 sec. per m² (18h per 100m² / 133.33 m² in 24h).

expansion (closed)

during an open expansions you can continue to work in the buildings without problems !
if a building is sent to the open expansion, closing it during the expansion does not bring any time advantage.

In contrast, during new construction the building cannot be worked with yet. once the new construction has been completed,
the building begins to deteriorate daily by 0.02% due to wear and tear. A newly constructed building must first be opened,
before goods can be shipped to it or employees can be assigned to a production/sales/research/advertising.
Only the future employees can be hired and also trained during the new construction. The new building can only be planned up to a maximum of 10,000m².

under Office > Account > Options can be set which construction option is preferred. this can also be selected individually for each expansion.

building permit

each building needs the appropriate permit. The size in which the new building can be built or
how big the existing building can be expanded depends on the Manager level. The following are the Manager level-dependent sizes and the Permits required for them:

a permit is for 20,000m².

from level 0-4, the total size of the respective building must include the storage area.

• Level 0

from 1m² - 10,000m² = 1 permit

• Level 1

from 1m² - 20.000m² = 1 permit

• Level 2

from 1m² - 30.000m² = 2 permit

• Level 3

from 1m² - 40.000m² = 2 permit

• Level 4

from 1m² - 50.000m² = 3 permit

• Level 5

from 1m² - 150.000m² = 8 or more permits

each building can be built any size from manager level 5. Since each action slot is fully exhausted with a maximum of 10,000m ²,
it is worth it in this regard no larger production area to build. The storage area must be considered there still extra.
