Merge of buildings

In order to improve clarity and to meet the wishes of many players, the merging of two buildings of the same type has been made possible.

It is therefore possible, for example, to merge two textile factories into one building. To do this, select the relevant building in the “Sell/merge building” filter in the building overview. You can then choose between “Merge” and “Sell” in the next window.

This is only possible if a suitable building is available and it is generally permitted. The following points can cause the merger to be canceled:

 * The building is a store.
 * The building is under reconstruction.
 * The building is under construction.
 * The building is already in the process of merge.
 * Storage spaces or slots are being expanded.
 * The number of storage spaces and slots should not exceed the maximum possible number for your level. If they do, some can be demolished in order to carry out a fusion.
 * The total size of the building should not exceed the maximum size of your buildings. The maximum size is 10,000 m² (+10,000 m² per player level). From level 5 the upper limit for the building size does not apply.
 * Please note the maximum number of slots per building. Otherwise too many m² will remain unused.

It is not possible to cancel a merger

The two buildings are put together one to one. All sizes and lines are added together. So if a textile factory with 15,000 m² production area, 1,000 m² storage area, 5 storage spaces and 3 production lines is merged with a textile factory with 10,000 m² production area, 1,000 m² storage area, 6 storage spaces and 2 production lines, this results in a new factory with 27,000 m² total area, 25,000 m² production area, 2,000 m² storage area, 11 storage spaces and 5 production lines at the location of the second factory. Therefore, the building that moves and will disappear after the merger should be the first choice in the “Sell/merge building” filter under “merging buildings”!

All contents of goods or production lines are taken over. The parked trucks will be taken along. The building permit is also transferred. If two buildings do not require a second building permit, this can be used again at any time and can be found as free in the building menu. The only thing that is not taken away are the features.

Identical products are merged in the storage areas. The merging of buildings takes 48 hours. During this time, the new building is closed and the old one is gone. The relocation costs are half the value of the building being relocated. The land value also disappears and the ATs and LVs are adjusted and taken along.

It is not possible to supply the building during the merger. However, you can manually deliver goods from the building.

After a merger, it often happens that the final building value does not correspond exactly to the calculated values, which are based on a formula such as x € per m² + slot values. This is due to the fact that slots are often demolished and rebuilt during mergers. This process changes the overall value of the building, as the building structure has “grown naturally”, so to speak, and the calculation therefore does not follow a standardized scheme exactly. This difference in valuation represents the increase or decrease in value of the building, as the first slots are usually free of charge
