== Basics==

Goods are sold in Producers and Traders to the virtual population of the cities. These goods are first produced in factories from raw materials that were previously produced in livestock farms, farms, fish farms, sawmills or mines. Intermediate products, which are also manufactured in factories, are often required to produce the end products.

In order to manufacture a product, it must first be researched in a research laboratory. 
To increase the value of a product, quality can be improved through research and, in the case of end products, the product reputation can be improved through advertising.
